14.04.21:
With lots of excitement and high expectations for the first event in South Africa it is even more sad to say that I am done after only one day. It might have been for the best as my body was not in any way capable to play a new round tomorrow. With a small issue with my wrist the last couple of days my thoughts were focused on saving it and avoiding any unnecessary strain. Unfortunately my wrist became the smaller problem as my back started to hurt through only a few holes played. I managed to swallow the pain until I couldn’t, and then it all hit me… I might have created a new water hazard on the 17th hole with all my tears.
I will take the next couple of days off and hopefully recuperate before the next event begins the 21st of April. I am ok now, and there should not be any long term effects of main pain on the course today. Thank you to everyone for cheering me on and all the good wishes.
